Because of my extreme interest in the show "Lost", I decided to watch a special on the Bermuda Triangle on the Discovery Channel. I watched with interest as they described the methane gas phenomenon and the many unexplained mysteries surrounding the area.
Half-way through the show, they introduced an expert on bubbles. Because many of the disappearances are contributed to methane gas bubbles from the ocean floor, this man was brought in to study these effects on tanker ships. He is a bubbleologist. Good grief. Who knew. I could go on about my reaction to the title of his specialty, but I will leave you to your own reactions. Bubbleology.
