p: puppy. 
a: alarm clocks are no longer needed.
r: rounding up every little object on the floor: he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth.
e: everyone stops me wherever I go with him.
n: nothing can get in the way of an afternoon walk: wind, rain, or 20-degree weather.
t: training.  house and behavior.
i: illusive sleep.  with the exception of a few blessed nights.
n: naps.  especially when he's cuddling with me.
g: good times definitely weigh out the stress

there's no other way to describe raising and training a puppy: parenting.
